Bullshot Crummond is a loving parody of the arch British detective Bulldog Drummond who was was extremely popular in 1920’s and 1930’s. Bullshot Crummond, was conceived by Ron House, Alan Shearman, John Neville Andrews an Derek Cunningham. It received it’s first large recognition in London at the Hampstead then under American director Michael Rudman. Bullshot Crummond was brought to America by Gilbert Adler. It was produced as a TV show for Show Time and was later pick up by HandMade Film, ex Beatle George Harrison’s Company. Directed by Dick Clement and co- produced by Ian LaFrenais. Bullshot Crummond averages about 60 production per year. The newest addition to the series is “Bullshot Crummond and the Invisible Bride of Death” . The sequel was penned by Ron House and opened in Los Angeles in 2011. A tour is planned for 2012.
